AAlas was never meant to be “just another brand.”

It’s a community for slowing down in a world that won’t stop talking about speed. A space for like-minded people to connect over art, stories, coffee, and the little things that make life feel full. We’re not chasing market gaps but building a home for being.

From that space, Yuki_by_AAlas was born.

Our way of turning meaning into something you can wear. Yuki creates sterling silver jewellery—sometimes from our own designs, sometimes from your ideas, and sometimes from the magic we make together. These are pieces you can love as they are, make your own, or dream up from scratch. They take time, because care and connection can’t be rushed.

Our story

An ode to the art of ease

The idea began during a group assignment. A simple loungewear brand, we thought. Something minimalist to celebrate the mild bursts of dopamine. But meaning has a funny way of finding us. Living in Mumbai, we watched people sprint just to survive. Leisure felt like a luxury. But shouldn’t it be part of the plan?

But all we had was an idea driven by monotony. An idea that screamed, ‘Hustle isn’t the only parameter of joy.’ We termed the idea ‘AAlas’. A mindset, a mood, a lifestyle that says: it’s okay to want a slower life.

Our philosophy

The art of doing nothing without guilt

When the to-do lists were endless, and even joy started feeling like a chore… something inside us wanted a pause. Not an escape from life but pause: just a moment to breathe and choose ourselves again.

We realised rest isn’t the opposite of living. It’s a part of it.

It’s the small, un-glam moments we ignore, eating slowly instead of rushing, taking a walk because your brain is clogged, calling it a day when your body says “enough” picking up a hobby without trying to be good at it, or just staring at the sky because your mind needs a second.

It’s not about avoiding work.
It’s about NOT abandoning yourself while doing it.

And on the days when you genuinely need to do nothing, you shouldn’t have to fight guilt for it.

Founder

Quietly observant yet endlessly imaginative, Yukt sees the world through shifting palettes of colour, texture, and fleeting light. They are drawn to the understated. A sunbeam across a desk, the quiet hum of an idea at 3 a.m., the stillness before the day begins. Balancing calm reflection with bursts of creative chaos, Yukt is always chasing the next spark that turns thought into form.

At AAlas, Yukt shapes the brand’s soul. He is building a space where leisure is not an indulgence but a way of being. Within Yuki, he turns emotions into wearable forms, transforming sketches into handcrafted silver pieces that hold meaning far beyond their design.

A background in psychology enriches his understanding of connection, while formal training in fashion design ensures each creation blends intention with technical mastery.

Anindita

Co-Founder

Expressive and instinctive, Anindita moves through life like a melody: unhurried, fluid, and attuned to the rhythms that surround her. She collects moments, emotions, and fragments of beauty, weaving them into stories that take shape in both art and living. There is softness in her presence, balanced by a quiet strength that knows when to pause, when to push, and when to simply let things be.

At AAlas, Anindita brings movement to vision, translating the brand’s ethos into experiences that feel personal yet universal. Within Yuki, she ensures that every piece maintains balance: elegance without stiffness, individuality without excess.

Her years of academic and practical training in fashion design give her the skill to bridge creativity with precision, allowing every idea to find its most authentic form.

Together, they combine artistry, technical skill, and a shared commitment to intentional living: AAlas as a lifestyle brand that celebrates slow, meaningful moments, and Yuki as its jewellery expression, rooted in individuality and personal connection.
